Marvin González-Quiroz, is a trained physician specialized in Occupational health and Epidemiology and holds a position as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Nephrology, University College London, London, United Kingdom and as a Researcher at Wuqu’ Kawoq Maya Health Alliance in Guatemala. He is a founding member, and Co-Chair of the Consortium for the Epidemic of Nephropathy in Central America and Mexico (CENCAM), as well as Steering Committee member for the DEGREE protocol. Dr. González-Quiroz has been leading a community-based cohort study among apparently healthy young adults at risk of CKDu in Nicaragua.
